We all lead such busy lives that our mental, emotional and physical health suffers from the disconnect that can happen between ourselves and life. Mindfulness is the act of paying purposeful attention to the present moment. It offers us a way to enjoy our lives more and reduce stress through a few simple practices. This one-hour class will help participants explore benefits of mindfulness meditation and teaches them techniques that reduce stress and increase life satisfaction.
This class in an introduction to the (GEM) Get Experience in Mindfulness series scheduled at a later date. To sign up, please call 815-732-3252 by Friday, April 9. Registration is required as seating is limited. Masks are required and temperature checks will be taken. Bingo is scheduled to follow.
