
Deputy Superintendent of Facilities

The Oregon Park District is hiring a Deputy Superintendent of Facilities to perform high-level oversight in the operation and maintenance of Nash Recreation Center. The Deputy Superintendent of Facilities will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing building maintenance and custodial services, identifying purchasing and contracting opportunities, and implementing long-range building maintenance plans. This position will report directly to the Superintendent of Parks & Facilities and be responsible for supervising support staff.
A successful candidate will have experience in building maintenance best practices, budgeting, contracted services and the ability to provide leadership and guidance to employees who report directly to them. Position will be expected to have a strong understanding of complex and technical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and pool operations.
An associate degree or successful completion of a skilled trade program is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in facilities maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also preferred.
Position must perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Oregon Park District’s policies and procedures.
