Program will be held via Zoom. The Universal monster movies of the 1930’s and 40’s are some of the most influential and beautiful movies ever made. Was Jack Pierce the greatest makeup artist in film history? Is The Brideof Frankenstein even greater than Frankenstein? How did director James Whale use lighting and set design to help tell his stories of doom? We’ll also see how children celebrated Halloween a century ago, and who knows?
