Halloween on the Prairie

The Byron Forest Preserve is pleased to announce the annual Halloween on the Prairie on Sunday, October 22, from 12:00-4:00 pm. This family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Byron Park District. Some of the offerings featured include games, hayrides, crafts, Raptor Rehab owl and hawk demonstrations, a bounce house, and more. There will be a costume parade at 1:00, so be sure to dress up! The forest preserve will also offer a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and bottled water. The rain/weather date for this event is Sunday, October 29, from 12:00-4:00 pm. You don’t have to register for this event.
