Healthy Living and the State of the Planet with Mission Wildlife – Watch Party at Oregon Public Library District

Thursday, January 20, 2022 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (CST)

Description

For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us for a watch party to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Mission Wildlife and Guest Speaker, Julie Scardina will share about what is happening around the world and what Mission Wildlife is doing to help. Learn about unique animals from around the world, such as the pangolin (pictured above), painted dogs, and much more! The program will conclude with a live special question and answer session.
