Sweet Corn Appreciation Day!

Local State Representative Tony McCombie of Savanna, Ill. has passed legislation which now recognizes August 1st as Sweet Corn Appreciation Day! 

In true Oregon Area fashion, our chamber board members want to make a fun day of it! Please join us for lunch on August 1st from 11:00-1:00pm at the River's Edge Experience at 103 S 1st St Oregon. 

• Hector's Cocina will be on hand with their new fresh roasted sweet corn! 
• Hazel's Cafe (Hazel's On The Go) will come out to serve tasty lunches and refreshing drinks! 
• Rustic Ridge Mobile Axe Throwing!
• FREE face painting from Best Beginnings Learning Center
• Fresh, local sweet corn available for purchase thanks to Rick & Joanne Canfield!
• Kids activities thanks to St Paul Lutheran Church
