The Oregon Park District invites you to buy or sell at the Annual Flower & Plant Sale and Mini Market on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Join us on the Ogle County Courthouse lawn from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Not only is this annual event a great place to buy and sell flowers and plants and garden art, but the Mini Market is a fun opportunity to get a taste of what is to come at Oregon's Market. Of course fresh vegetables won't be ready, but other items such as baked goods, honey, homemade dog treats, local BBQ sauce, local syrup, handmade candles, jams and jelly, artisan breads and more should be available for purchase. Gourmet Grilled Cheese will be fresh off the grill made by Jen's Artisan Breads and Hector's Homemade chips and more will be available for purchase. At the Park District booth, kids can plant a fairy garden in a tea cup for a small fee while supplies last.
This is a popular fragrant and fun event that you won't want to miss. If you enjoy planting perennials in the spring, come and pick up some new varieties of flowers at our Annual Flower & Plant Sale. Maybe you have an overabundance of perennials you want to divide and sell to make room for some new additions to your flower garden. Vendors can register for a booth space for only $15. Come and enjoy some fun garden shopping and get some great gardening ideas. Items to buy or sell include: perennials, annuals, herbs, wildflowers, seeds, garden ready vegetable plants, and more. Garden and or 'natural' art may also be sold. Market Vendors selling homemade, handmade and homegrown items are welcome to register for a booth space as well.
Be sure to the mark the Flower & Plant Sale, on May 1, on your calendar. Interested vendors should contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Register for a booth space at www.oregonpark.org or by calling Nash Recreation Center at 815-732-3101.
